Where do you think the term “xx” comes from? I have just realised this at the end of my mail, my friend usually type triplex such as this: “xxoxo”. Does anybody know what does it actually mean? Does it have any other meaning other than “love”? Guess it means ‘oxie’ or ‘xxo’.
To elaborate on the triple a situation, some people say that “xx” is a code word used in the MMA fighting community. Someone with Asperger’s syndrome is likely to have a sibling who also has ASD, or vice versa. Additionally, people with the syndrome are likely to have children who also have ASD. So basically, people with ASDs can have triple x syndrome, and everyone with triple x syndrome can have ASDs.
There is some evidence to show that there is a link between Aspergers syndrome and the extra x chromosome, though researchers are not sure exactly what that link is. The hypothesis is that the extra x chromosome may be responsible for causing symptoms such as hyperactivity, autism, and irritability. However, it is unclear whether or not an extra x chromosome is involved in causing autistic disorder in any children. Still, most people with ASDs, as well as those with other autism spectrum disorders, have no family history of autism or mental retardation. Additionally, many children with ASDs do not have any other family members who suffer from autism spectrum disorders.
Many researchers are not convinced that autism spectrum disorder is caused by genetics, and they believe that it is influenced by a combination of environmental factors and behavioral problems. People with autism spectrum disorder typically exhibit problems with nonverbal behavior, and they tend to be highly creative, intelligent, and motivated. However, people with autism spectrum disorder also commonly exhibit characteristics of extraverted and introverted behavior. Children with the syndrome also frequently exhibit high levels of concentration, and they often have a tendency to overreact when confronted with social situations.
